It's not just progressive it's trucking insurance every body's insurance is going up, if you're still paying under $12,000 it's because you have not hit your renewal yet!!!
I have priced it with over 10 different companies and nobody has come under $15,000 in fact progressive is still cheaper than anyone else!!

Thats incredible. How are they allowed to hike prices almost 300%?? Fuel is usually the highest cost of doing business in trucking but it looks as though insurance is quickly becoming the top cost in this industry... You might as well make trucks disposable because in the used market you can re buy a decent truck every two years for what youll pay out in insurance.

I understand fuel will always be the biggest expense...but even when fuel went from $2 to $4 that 100%... And you use fuel everyday and if something goes wrong with fuel the price at the pump stays the same.. If you get a ticket or have an accident fuel will be somewhere around 4 bucks... And you can slow down or make your truck more efficient and use less fuel

But insurance going up 300% and if something should go wrong guess what ...Going up again...Or even worse they just say thanks for all your money but you're canceled.. Its crazy

Nobody pointed out he's in Florida. My first year I saved a couple thousand bucks by not listing fl. My agent told me Florida is the number one most expensive state for trucking....because they are number one in commercial truck theft!
