    It will depend on if you are financing the truck or not. I have True North for Tractor and OOIDA for my carrier insurance. I pay about 1500 a month between the two. Ouch. Trucking is a good way to make other people rich.

    I just got off the phone with Progressive. $10,737 with 100k cargo insurance if paid in full and $12,269 if broken into monthly installments. This was my first quote on a brand new authority. I haven't gotten the authority yet and still want to call a few more places for quotes before I make my move. Anyone else care to share their favorite insurance company?
