    Driver in Canada for 20 years no problems,found guilty of driving under suspension,paid all fines served 6 month suspension,this was almost 2 years ago,I have duel citizenship,Canadian,American,if I go to Florida and change my ontario license to a Florida one,will my Canadian driving record still prevent me from getting a job there,it's the insurance companies,every company I had interview I got the job then insurance said no,original suspension was for an unpaid fine,then I moved twice didn't get letter,

    Your driving record will follow you...my 20 year old record stops me from entering Canada ...

    Insurance companies are going to want 5 years on a charge like that..

    Maybe try the bottom feeders western etc etc....

    They treat driving under suspension as a result of unpaid fines like DUIs. I'm still suffering from just being suspended for unpaid fines without the conviction of driving while suspended. Find a small outfit and ace your interview. You'll get a set of keys...
