Want to return to team driving, but have not been in truck since Dec, 2014. Have 18 years of team driving experience (8 with Fedex Ground). No accidents, one speeding ticket in 2003; one other negative is had Dui in Sept, 2017, but learned my lesson. Can anyone help?

5000 mile week is $1250 for each driver of the team, plus accessorial pays.
Team OTR Drivers average 6,000 miles per week
That's not bad for a driver that's retired and been off the road for a long time.
She is asking about teams, plus she's been off the road for many years.

    To the OP, "Ozlady"....................
I write this with all due respect and I'm NOT trying to be mean-spirited or ugly about it.... BUT, YOU acknowledge a DUI in Sept 2017. NO Carrier's Insurance Co. will cover you, PERIOD.
Just like going to the Doctor, if the Insurance Co. won't pay for what the DR. orders. ?????
The Insurance Co.'s call the shots!!
You write you're currently working for Baylor Trucking. Why won't Baylor hire you as a driver???
Sorry if this disappoints, but it's the REALITY of your situation.

You will have to wait untill your DUI is at least 5 years old. So maybe sometime in 2023. Some carriers want 7 years since a DUI, and a few will never except you.
