Not sure if you have made a choice as far as companies, but Schneider gives their new drivers a chance to go out as a team after the orientation. While in training you can feel out the other drivers and see if you think you would get along with them and see if they might be interested in teaming.
With all that has been said here, I will ad one thing, again its the problem if you can sleep while the truck is in motion. I drive team and had a problem for the first week, but now I can sleep without any problems. My co-driver on the other hand is still having problems sleeping.
The one thing about Schneider is you can try it for a few weeks and decide. Remember the cpm is lower but your paid on all truck miles, makes a huge difference. Going from solo to team my pay went up 40%
