Sorry Steve, but it is inaccurate.
The weight shift is equal and opposite on both ends.
If you move it one hole and take 250 pounds off the back end, that weight goes to the front end.
“So I've always been of the opinion that sliding the tandems on a trailer doesn't have much of an effect on the drive axel weight.”
That statement is, in fact, factually inaccurate.
Unless you want to plead that it was only an opinion, in which case the opinion would be factually inaccurate,
Very basic physics here.
Opinions don't matter where physical laws apply.kylefitzy Thanks this. -
They're alternative facts.

Ermagherd fake nerws!

I'll concede. As I said earlier, I rarely get a load this heavy and it's even more rare when I have to fine tune the tandems. Living in California limits our ability to move the tandems very much, so the loads have to be done right which is why I try to watch my trailer being loaded.kylefitzy Thanks this.

Maybe you should define exactly what alternative facts are.
-
They're like real facts but less true.
-
I kind of got that from your first post, but that last response was just too... .
But I'll give this to you...
I would love it if, just once, Trump said "I concede".Last edited: Oct 10, 2019

A fact can never be more or less than true.
Can it? -
Just think of it like an awards ceremony. Everything is a fact. We can give out 12th place awards for alternative facts, then we don't have to call anyone a liar and hurt their feelings. Everybody wins!
