Hi, hope I did this right first off. I am new to this and considering buying a tractor and hiring a driver and try starting out hauling intermodal. I am not sure of the facts but hopefully someone can set me straight first whether or not I need my own DOT # to haul for say CSX Intermodal or JBH Intermodal? How does that work? Anyh info to start with would be appreciated. Thank you very much.

Not for JBH. Have a friend that started that in Haslett Texas a year and half ago. His truck was to old for California so he looked for something else and landed there.

His exact words to me were... "If I had know it was this easy making money, I'd have given up reefers long ago"
