We get, generally, about a .20 to .25 discount at the yard. Sometime, depending on the time of the week, the T. S. might be better.....
For me, the yard is convenient, better on IFTA (always get a refund) and inexpensive....without a big name fuel card, I don't really see the T. S. being a better option (unless you ALWAYS manage to time your fueling JUST right).....
+ you can always fuel at the T. S. if you want to.....

Anyone been to up dolton? Going to grab umxu empty then load green bay back to g2. Never been to both. Mayve dolton when i was at all points idk. Anyone know where they keep empties at up. So i dont gotta deal with a nasty ### spotter.
-
I've never been to Dolton. G2 is easy in and out the couple times I've gone there. When you get off 290 to lake street going east G2 will be immediately on the right ( south side ) you will see signs for Custom companies trucking company ( they share the same access road ) are you just dropping chassis and box at G2 or gotta get live lift off private chassis?
-
Well im coming from green bay. The directions i got were tough. Im dropping 53 foot there
-
Do u have a specific container or just any box but I think the empties are in the back by this chassis lot close to 145 but you still have to come in the yard to acces it make sure you stop at all signs and have headlights and flashers on up getting real strict on safety banning guys for 30 days for anything

What're you all on about? I'm a company driver. Local elogs average about $1/mi... And they're hiring like crazy. But yeah elogs are the end of the world...

Just wanted to share my experience with CPG. Revolving door of "not enough freight" cancelled loads and games with our settlements. Repeatedly not getting paid for loads we have delivered and no matter whom we complain to we are told "yes, you were paid, just trust us" but nobody can cough up the proof.
Was promised "no less than $2800-$3400 gross per week" but it's yet to be seen over the course of 6 months.JimmyWells and Dominick253 Thank this. -
How did that load turn out for you?Dominick253 Thanks this.

Don't your settlements specify your loads?
