Intermodal - How's everyone doing?

I dont do that much. But im 53foot. The 20/40 guys i think do it a lot more. Because we have guys that pre pull from rail.

 

I very rarely do drop and hook at company yard. Most times it's a situation where a driver don't have a twice and I pull the box for him/her, or a driver running late to make the port so I pull a box from the port or I bring a load into the port. A lot of companies charge the road driver a fee if someone else pull a container or turn in a container for you. The company i am with charge $90

 

They are talking about widening 294 from 95th street up to Ohare. It would eliminate the Hinsdale Oasis. Similar to what they did up on I-90. Boy it will be nice when done but what a mess its going to be when they start lane closures.

I was reading they are also considering putting in a rail lineto run with it
