Anyone here do Intermodal in Chicagoland, or have done it? Im in Kenosha, WI. They told me about a position based out of racine where Id be going to the yards in Chicagoland and delivering to customers. 45 cents a mile, $35 for each drop and hook and $60 for live unload.

They are saying it averages $1300 a week, but im not seeing it. Theres a lot of traffic in the area, time getting in and out of yard, etc. I know $1300 is most likely a lie, but I wanna see what drivers are actually getting, and if it is a decent account to get on, both money wise and office competence wise. Thanks.

$.45/mile for a 4-hour, 140 mile, round-trip route per day with deliveries and D&Hs in Chicago? I guess it depends on how many hours you work. I don't see it averaging $1,300 per week unless you're working every day, working at least 12 hours/day, and getting in and out of at least 2 live deliveries/day quickly.
