I know a few people who work for Hubgroup, Schneider and JB are pretty noticeable at the yards bow(especially Haslet). What questions did you have?
-
I'm with jb right now but mainly just wanted to know about how the work is looking.
Jb has a few spots opening soon at the Wylie yard for company and O/O positions with the company driver spot averaging 46k/yr and the O/O spot averaging 120k/yr home every day,are these good numbers for the work y'all do? -
I'm not in intermodal anymore, but 46k seems low depending on hours. If you're off weekends I'd say it's a decent deal, but if you're running 70 hours a week for 900$ it's not worth it. JB starts you on night shift correct? Any differential pay? Do they have a preload % or do you wait in line for each box?
Check out Hubgroup and Indeed, see what others are offering for the same yard. -
I would have to call and find out but that's what I thought 46k is petty crap if it's 14 hour days everyday lol but jb says the average for my account is 60k but I'll probably pull off 72k which is why I'm kinda hoping that's just a low average.
