Hello, long time lurker first time poster.

I am looking to purchase a class 7 (26k GVWR+) single axle manual transmission tractor truck with air brakes. I am in California, but this will be primarily a yard truck, so I can probably get by with a pre-2008 truck.

I am looking for something similar to the International 4300/4400. Most of the ones I have seen unfortunately are either not tractors (but box trucks, etc) or have automatic transmissions.

I would like a DT466 or a Cummins or really anything besides the MF engine. I have looked through craigslist, ebay, truckpaper, commercialtrucktrader, and am coming up completely empty, so I would like to expand my search to other vehicles in the category.

I have looked at the 8600, but would prefer something smaller, as it will be driven by newbies in a yard. I know they exist as I have driven them, but seem to be extremely rare?

Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Freightliner m2 or the older FL70 should be close to what your looking for. Pretty all the big truck companies make smaller trucks likee your looking for.

Shock Therapy, thank you, but that 4300 has an automatic. So do all the FL70s I've looked at.

I will look at the Freightliner m2!

    Shock Therapy Thanks this.
