So I purchased a 1999 4900 and shortened the wheelbase and put a flatbed 11 ft flatbed on it. Everything went smooth until I started it up to back it out of the garage. Now when your turn the key to run the tach and speedometer don’t go all the way over like they should. The tack goes to 14 then goes back a couple times and nothing on the dash is working but the air and fuel gauge. I thought it was a fuse and checked but didn’t see any in fuse box. Then thought it was dash. I have another 4900 so I took the dash out of truck not working and placed it in other truck and it worked as it should. So now I’m confused. What else could it be? Are there any inline fuses that I’m not seeing or what else should I be checking. Thanks.

Did you then put the dash back in the problem truck and try it again?
Internationals in those years had a lot of issues with solder joints internally in the dash assembly.
Sometimes just moving them around and flexing them they would work again.
    Also maybe @Heavyd can help.
