How can you see this code? Blink code ore MID 128 PID 197

    MID - Modul ID

    SID - System ID
    PID - Parameter ID

PSID - propriate SID - non standard code
PPID - propriate PID - non standard code

    FMI - fault ID

I have 4 fault codes on my 2005 Intl 9200i, ISM Cummins. If anyone could help me determine what my troubles are, I'd greatly appreciate it!...

    On dash, codes read exactly:
    136:F08 SID 003_A
    128:F00 PID 156_P
    136:F01 SID 003_A
    128:F01 PID 111_A

The truck routinely gives a flutter when taking off and shoots a huge ploom of white smoke for about 1 sec, then flutter stops, so does smoke.
    Can anyone help?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Ok, slow down. First of all, what model do you have? What engine do you have? Where and how are you getting this 197 code? If you have an International with an International engine the 197 code has nothing to do with the engine. No International engines have a 197 fault code. If your truck has a Cummins engine, 197 is for low coolant level.

136 is from the ABS system, 128 is from the engine. The "A" at the end means it is currently active, the "P" means previously active, or inactive.
136:F08 SID 003 is for left rear abs wheel speed sensor failure, or circuit.
128:F00 PID156 isn't in my list but the 156 is fuel timing
136:F01 SID 003 is also another code for the left rear abs sensor.
128:F01 PID 111 is low coolant level

Right now only your ABS light should be on. Only the ABS shows a problem. Then engine codes are only old ones that need to be cleared out. You cannot clear codes from the dash display.

EGR differential pressure sensor is reading pressures which are physically impossible at the current engine operating conditions. Usually a failed sensor or/and plugged sensing tubes.

    My fault Codes are:

    136:F09 SID002_A
    and
    128:F01 PID129_A

I just had a FASS system put in, do they have something to do with that?

    ASRAFF Thanks this.

Your first code is for the right steer abs sensor or exciter ring problem. You didn't say what engine you have, I can better answer your question with better information. But if you have a Cummins it is Injector metering rail #2. I am not familiar with the FASS system. The first code is ABS, but the second is engine and fuel related. If your codes were not there before you better go back to who ever installed it have it checked out.
