International Lone Star

My uncle just got a semi brand new one from Western Distribution, He doesnt like it at all from the turn radius to the look of it, He does how ever love the standing space in the sleeper and the amount of room he has inside,

 

Absolutely hate Internationals....but the Lone Star looks guuud. I saw one
that looked like it had been lowered, and had a larger bumper. I like em.

 

They should start a poll on this one. BTW, I like it too. It just exudes that 'I'm a ###### trucker' syndrome.

 

lonestars are a love hate relationship, you like them or you dont. kinda like a prostar or a cascadia. Personally the color combo of the lonestar is 90% of the battle of either looking good or looking like crap. You really need to chose very wisely to get a color or a stripe combo that looks good with that much chrome.

 

I LIKE IT!!!! Much nicer then any of the Pro stars etc. Still not as nice looking as a W900 or Long nose Pete but I do like it.

 

Lonestars are the FUGLIEST tractors on the road. The Prostar is a nice clean looker, but that Lonestar... :smt107 :smt108

The grill reminds of an anorectic girl. These are actually hard to work on too. Engine is very far back into the firewall. Intake air pipes are a complete junk and allow the engine to breath dirty air. Check out one with a Davco filter, it doesn't fit anywhere, so they have to mount it at an angle. Check out the belly pan under the oil pan, that looks fun to take off. I need to stop....

 

On looks alone (which is the subject) it looks like the next Transformer! Would I own one? Probly not. Not after what Heavyd started with....sounds like a Volvo's cousin! But I still like the look

 

Best I can tell from looking at them is that they are just a Prostar with a different front end. Same idea as the previous 9400/9900 models. They do catch the eye when you see one on the road though.
