    #### wish I had time to play games.... I use Verizon and have 22 GB of data a month. tether my phone to notebook and occasionally use TA internet for 24 hours when I have a ton of things to download.

22GB cost me $100 a month then I have my expensive phone...

sprint has always been unlimited. and has no plans to change any time soon.

i use my phone for wifi hotspot. and i dont pay extra for the plan. paying for one of them limited data wifi devices is just wasting money when your phone can do the same thing.

I have unlimited on my phone and 2GB/month on the phone's wifi hotspot through Verizon.

I also heard Pilot/J is going to start letting you pay for wifi with your points, so essentially it's free.

Yeah, I had unlimited(since 2003) on my wireless card till it died. When I upgraded to a hotspot device, I lost my unlimited, as everyone will, when they go 4g. I still have unlimited on my phone though, for now.

Be careful of hotspots. Most of them are unsecure so your computer isn't really safe. It can be expensive to say the least. I used to have AT & T for my internet but in a lot of cases I didn't have a strong enough signal to use it.:biggrin_2556:
I then went to Verizon and now have my private WiFi. I've never had any problems getting a signal with it and you can hook up to 5 devices with it. It cost me $50.00 per month for 5GB and it's a 4G. It's fast and there are no wires to hook up so it's not in the way at all. It's worth it to me and gives me a piece of mind that nobody can get on my WiFi without the passcode.:biggrin_25525:
My advice is to shop around a little to see which one would work for your needs.

you can set a passcode on any device. you just got to be smart.

google is always your friend and will always show you the way.

as far as hacking goes. somehow i just don't see it coming from any truckers. or they wouldn't be trucking in the first place. they would be doing computers.

there are tons of smart truckers. but when it comes to computers. most of the world don't know anything more then the basics of how to turn it on. and surf the internet. let alone hacking.
