10gigs really isn't that much.

Wow, I thought I use alot 30-50gigs most months.

 

I have Verizon, I am on a Unlimited Data Plan. which they would like me to upgrade, not going to happen. When I have a chance to game I will buy a 24 hour plan at the truck stop.

 

I have unlimited, because I've had the same plan for about 3 or 4 years.

 

I got 10 gigs from att. I come close to using it but I also run hard as I legally can. Not a lot of down time. I watch shows on youtube and what not haven't gone over but my phone has an option to turn data off when I hit I certain amount. I have used truck stop wifi before I wasnt very impressed with it although alot of people do use it. I would start low. You can always up grade your plan if you realize you need more. Way easier to up your plan then to down size it.

 

I am using Version and have 20 gigs a month. I am not happy with the cost as I have no idea how many gigs I am using at any time. It would be nice if it had a meter on it to let you know how much you were using at the time. I know how to go online and look but it seems that all of a sudden, I used it all.

On the two trucks that I have on order, I am going to have an in motion satellite system installed so I can have the same systems as folks in their homes do. I do not know if that will be Dish or something else. But that is the way to go, I believe.

 

Correct just data, I pay an extra bill monthly to Verizon for my cell phone service.
