I use 80-90 Gigs/month badwidth downloading movies and TV shows all day every day.
Sprint UNLIMITED FTW!
It sucks in some areas, but I'm not going to pay 2x as much to be limited to how much I can use
Internet options while on the road

I use an HTC Evo through sprint. Sprint as far as I know still has unlimited. At least I have not been charged anything extra. Speeds are OK. As for gaming its not so hot. I use to also be a big STEAM gamer. One of the biggest ones being Counter Strike Source which does not require that high of bandwidth to play and is almost always completely unplayable. So stuff like MW2 or other similar newer games would more then likely be horrible.
As for price, I just pay my regular cell bill. My Evo is "rooted" so that I get WiFi tethering for free. Many companies offer cell phone discounts. For instance I drive for Swift. (YA YA I know....let the comments come.) Anyhow Sprint gives Swift drivers a discount. Never really paid attention to how much it is though.
And from what I've compared with Verizon and Sprint.....they get pretty much the same speeds. And as for 4g....as an OTR driver I very very very rarely ever have a 4g connection so I would say it is not worth paying for if you have a choice and if you go with Sprint you will pay for it regardless as they do not give you the choice. -

straight phone data
rooted, hotspot hack, downloading movies to my laptop all day.
Although there is a great torrent app for the phone itself as well -
Sprint is and will remain unlimited. I got a new Iphone because of the rumor that only the Iphone would be unlimited and I stream alot of radio shows on my phone. After I was done my wife asked the Customer Rep when they were doing away with their unlimited plan and she said they're not. She said they're using that as an advantage over other service providers.

I haven't had them in a few years, but it seems that most, if not all, of my friends that still do are constantly complaining about inconsistent service and billing issues with Sprint.
