my friend quit interstate after 6 years.
had to give a lot of loads with good miles to the teams.
if you dont chain up dont work for a tacoma company
there is lots of mountains around here. i chained up in olympia last week cuz every one was spun out in traffic on ice. its not hard if you got rain gear

As far as whether or not Interstate is a good company, that depends on a person's point of view and what they are looking for in a company. What one person considers a bad situation may be just what another person is looking for. My Dad was leased on with them for some time and wasn't too happy with certain issues and ultimately moved on. I was also with them as a local driver for a very short time and left them as well. As far as their financials, I heard on the Sirius/XM Road Dog Truckers Channel that they were bought by another firm. Not sure if I can post the link here, but according to the report, this firm plans no changes to Interstate's operations, etc. The best advice I can give you is to talk with their drivers. Get specifics as to what they like and don't like. The site will not let me post the link to the story. Do a Google search for this: Saltchuk resources to acquire Interstate Distributor Co and it will take you to the page.

    Hope this helps.

Wow ! My eyes hurt from trying to separate the sentences....... What did he say?

Do you see that abc with a check under it on the upper right? That's a windows spell check editor. After you bang out your anger...click that dude and he'll fix most of your ut oh's.

Don't got him? Goggle windows spell check and download it.

Now IDC..... One of the first warning signs will be the canceled fuel cards. Carriers have to keep a unavailable reserve up with like Comdata of at least 10k plus the perceived operating expenses. Anything goes wrong like you fail to replenish or auto draft is turned off and Comdata will knee jerk and shut the cards off. Fuel every chance you get. If nothing else, pull up to the pump and log in...see if it's authorized.

Watch your direct deposit also...you know when it's supposed to be there...if it's not....

Be vigilant drivers or be like Arrow......JMO

Sorry you're too blind to read properly there Mr. "Chalupa."

Since you can't read, I will manually space the lines to make it easy for you.

For your information, that spell check thing you mentioned only checks
spelling, not line spacing for blind people.

I used spell check and there are no spelling errors in what I typed.

Things like this are the reason why this industry has gone to pot.

Someone asks for help/advice and when it is given,
some other person wants to start blasting the person giving the advice
over some ridiculous nonsense. Have a good day, sir.

Hope that wasn't too hard on your eyes.

Oh, and one more thing- nothing was typed out of anger as you suggested.

I was merely offering some advice.
