You don't lose yer license .. It's their Bill, not yours. Getting an attorney is not because of the bill but to sue them in big court for illegal practices. Also, you call the investigative department of your local news ... you have to be aggressive in trucking, if not, it will eat you up and spit you out.

My point is YOU have to assertive in Trucking .. It's a "Cut Throat", "Ruthless" Industry. Must stand up for yerself from day one, or you will be run over and crushed ...

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Trucking!

I think you should request to join the IDC private Facebook page and post your problem there. I guarantee you will get a phone call plus a lot of reaction from fellow IDC drivers. This should in no way be your fine to pay. As a driver you checked your permit book and the dates are good on paper. That's all you can do. Press this issue Monday and if its not resolved by noon tues your fm will be getting an email from someone higher up than them.

Happy Sunday Sal. Sorry to hear of your permit issues and rest assured I have already got calls into your FM and Ops Managers and you will get plenty of favorable attention on Monday. Don't worry. I have alerted people that have power that there is an issue that needs addressing Monday am. Stay tuned.

    sal and Paloma Thank this.

Sal, I sent you a pm....let me know if you did not get it. Thanks and good luck!

haha Oregon joe. I told him in pm that I believed our fm would take care of it and his should too. We have a lot of drivers here who have been here a long time and communication has been the key to success.

This is so TRUE! I BEAT CRE with a ton of letters from an attorney and lots of threats of law suits for slander of credit and their complete dishonesty. It took 9 months, but they took the $96,500 hit off my credit report and even sent me what I had documented as what I was owed at the end of my lease. Document EVERYTHING! Usually when a company sees that the driver isn't the typical idiot driver they are used to pushing around, they settle up legitimately. It seems that from what I'm reading here, this ticket/permit issue will be resolved when the suits come into work on Monday.
