I thought about navajo but they pay $110 a day salary until you have 1 year exp.. Remember I don't have 1 year OTR so they'll probably tell me that. I don't think i'd like to work 14 hours for $110..
Thanks for the other suggestions though, I'll check out abilene.

Keep us posted on Holland. Several of their drivers post on here and seem to do well.
-
I think Navajo changed that pay policy when they lost so many drivers over it. Call and ask.
-
Will do! they seem pretty good. I like all the ammeneties, specially since when i was with knight id stay out for 3-4 weeks or more.. It'll be nice to not have to worry about idling and being comfortable without your truck speed gettign lowered or baby sitting the truck so it won't shut off etc.. plus having a fridge and what not, it's super nice.
-
oh glad they did, I'll call and ask, they fly you to orientation and they let you park the truck home. But it's refeer and i've never done it.. lol.. I'll check it out if i don't hear from holland.
-
I'm sure Holland hires in Nevada, but doesn't drop down to Arizona for drivers.
-
Abilene usually flies new drivers to orientation in Virginia.Dharok Thanks this.

Really? That's good, downside is I hope I don't have to run the East coast that much? I haven't done it and I just rather not lol... I might just go with Navajo until i reach 25 yo with 2-3 years exp.. Then i can go with odfl or haul fuel locally or a smaller company that pays .45+ (that i've seen some, just req 25 yo)
-
Navajo will probably work for you.
Old Dominion hires new cdl grads, but depends on if the terminal needs drivers or not.
Jim Palmer Trucking pays .40 cpm + .05 cpm for fuel savings. -
