Plus 300 miles searching for trailers and only when they have frieght ....I did better than that most weeks until they started screwing with the board....but more importantly you can not trust them to keep thier word integrity was lacking thier

Really thanks, I guess it's their job to make it sound so sweet. So I was like how much can I expect if I leased my truck on revenue wise, so the recruiter go some info from me and gabe me the MGH Sample which had the break downs, now you know better than I do, because you actually ran for them. So this is what I got Gross revenue to truck $3,000 minus fuel , their insurance, and I gave him a number for a truck note of 1400 monthly, so we threw that in to the equation based on 350 weekly, so after we subtracted all expenses, the Net was like $1,800 and like he said based on 2000 - 2200 miles on weekly avg. Oh yeah and thats being dispatched by them for the first 6 months, if my driver doesnt have 6 months experience as an O/O. Then after you will gain access to the freedom board, but if my driver has the experience then there's like a 30 waiting period. So if I were to go this route how much should my driver expect to get paid based on the miles, ? Realistically, ?

With them dispatching you I knew no one that was happy.... realistically I have no clue I had really good weeks running shorter loads and had other weeks that were fubar....when I left lanes that used to pay 1.90 a mile were down to 1.40 and thier network had a lot of deadhead in it ......maybe heartlands frieght and trailers will help fix that but honestly my biggest issue is you can't trust them to honor the terms of the contract they have no issue just rewriting it every three months buyer beware

I gotcha , do you feel it's possible to pay my driver and still profit $500 weekly ? I can'tell expect much as an owner that has 1 truck and a driver, but just to get the ball rolling, without the xtra responsibility of running my own authority straight out the gates, but of course the plan would eventually get my authority for better rates,.but every thing takes time. Thanks for any advice

So the driver should be paid the full $1800 weekly even though he has no expenses whatsoever just drive 2000 miles

You aren't going to make that much ...plus you have workman's comp in Cali maintenance expenses etc etc and they don't track empty miles on settlements more than likely his 3100 is not on 2200 but more like 2600 miles ...and don't expect good mpg or lower maint cost with a hired driver it will never happen sir

    2600 × .50CPM= $1,300 (1800 REV-1300=500) it's doable.
