i never heard of anyone getting kicked out of an interview, typically the interview ends normally and they just never call said person back.

part of me looks at like this, i will get unemployment with no contest from serafini (im still on good terms with them), i do to this quack company and it ends poorly i could get completely burned.

it seems to me they MIGHT have a hard time hiring drivers because of their odd ways

I don’t know. I was asked by my employer if I ever failed a drug test and I answered no.

i have never failed a drug test even when i was doing factory work...... there was a point in my life when i would indulge (pre-CDL). if i knew i was changing jobs i would clean up for months before. im not stupid. never failed a drug test. i dont do anything anymore. i know darn well if you are driving a CMV and get in an accident, regardless if you are intoxicated at the time..... you pee dirty, your setting yourself up for a lawsuit. CMV's and consuming anything.... does not go together.

sadly drinking is somehow OK(i disagree). you can go out and get completely boozed out on a friday after work and that's alright. our society is messed up. i once read a book if leafy green is safer, why are we driving people to drink. absolutely correct.

just because the law says i cant consume leafy green does not mean im going to drink. after-all they want me to drink that poison. they profit off of it.

my wife brought home from her work Christmas gifts..... a bottle of vodka, a bottle of whine, and a bottle of champagne. almost a year later it still sits in the fridge. its the only booze we have. im contemplating dumping it down the drain.

You could just go do OTR with a company like I do. Melton. They pay pretty good and their equipment is top notch. I’ve been happy. They need drivers. They need people who don’t fail drug tests.

my relationship with my 6 year old, my wife (of 13 years), and soon to be baby are more important then driving otr. i have an unborn son on the way due November 16th. if i had started earlier in this career i would not have gotten married or started a family

Then quit worrying about one interview. Go find a local job. You should be searching right now. Instead of posting here.

i agree, i have a filled out application sitting on the table ready to go. i cant do much till monday. office people dont work weekends. while looking for a job weekends are wasted time. im also going to call a couple of propane places monday and stop at the county garage..... that would be an ideal job. a county job.

Online..... You can check County, City, other local companies. They put jobs up on their websites. I do it.
Try the Electric Company, Gas Company, etc. ... they have truck drivers.
    Also check Craigslist.
You can do job search on indeed and other job sites. Just do job searches on those sites for where you are at. They'll list local ones. You might even be interested in Regional.
I have all my jobs applied for on Sunday. Then all week long to sort them out. Talk on phone. .... yadda yadda.... job stuff

    taodnt Thanks this.
