Dbay kept me in great shape and I loved my route. Ya it was work but they pay was excellent...much better than the bulk pay I am getting now. You can't be afraid to work hard and fast. 700 cases can be picked, ran in, checked in, and completely stocked at 20 stops in less than twelve hours if you hustle hard enough...sometime 10 hours if you have fewer stops to spread the cases. It's not as bad as it sounds but you will be sweat soaked by days end.

I have my face to face interview this coming week. I worked for Coca-Cola for a while, so I know how the routes/ work goes. I didn't mind coke at all, was a great paying gig, great benefits and the work schedule was great. The only downside to it all, was dealing with the snotty Store managers who thought they were great making $9 hour to manage a small convenient store. Also walgreens managers are complete xxxxxxxxx, but oh well, only have to deal with them for a short period of the day, unlike my current job where I have to deal with some joke of a boss who pays me crap to sell his junk cars and make him millions. Yeah, I left the driving industry to go back into the car business ( been in the car business all my life) , realizing it still SUCKS. So Now I am looking at getting back in the trucking industry and making actual MONEY, plus if I land a job with Pepsi, it will get me back in shape. Crossing my fingers that I land this position. I could kick myself in the butt for leaving coke in the first place.

Pepsi and Budweiser load there trucks better than Coke does. Everything you always needed was at the bottom until you sorted it out. I was a relief driver and always had to go behind drivers that never rotated stock. Constantly rotating stock slows you down is why many skip it.
It's a fun job for a younger person. I did it back in 97-98. You can always tell a side loader by his calves.
One driver that started with me is still with Coke. He's up in management now making good money. He drove like 8 years then they promoted him. If I done it again it would be Pepsi or Bud.timd1978 Thanks this.
