When I went my instructor might have been a great driver but he was a lousy instructor. Maybe because he drove all night and taught all day.
Switched schools, new instructor only had one job, it was a piece of cake.
Three years later and I pull a super b down some fairly interesting roads, throw chains on every trip and cover 7-10% grades daily.
Do make sure if you are paying hourly for a brush up review that they don't waste your time and money going over things you know. A log book course is Worth It!
Practice your pretrip and brake check till you talk about it in your sleep
and Relax! The examiner is not the enemy.
