I am new to the owner operator business structure and I am looking for some good resources to get freight. Gettin an authority was too expensive for now and load boards require certain things like an authority to see loads and broker information. Is there any intrastate only load boards or intrastate brokers? Please advise
Seems to me that without your own authority you are going to have to lease to someone, and pull their loads. Unless I mis-understood your post.
The larger load boards will allow you to create searches which will in essence give you what you are looking for, intrastate loads. I don't know of a brokerage that solely deals in intrastate transit though, not saying they aren't out there.
