Introduction

Hello Turkeyshooter here. I have been trucking for 8+ years. Just recently went back into long haul after working as a yard jockey for Wal-Mart. I now work for Swift Enterprises and agent for US Xpress. I have also driven for FFE, Food Lion, Conway Truckload. My best paying job was hauling the mail for Elbar a subsidiary of Pat Salmon & Sons. Wal-Mart considers 6 months or more off the OTR a break in service. In order to drive for them I had to go back OTR for 3yrs. I lucked up and got right on hauling the US Mail for Elbar which was a great paying job. Team runs from NC & FL to California. Cut backs within the US Postal Contracts recently forced me to go another company. That being said, my first experience is with US Xpress & one of their agent companies Swift Enterprises.
