Hi everyone!
I am new to this forum. I am glad you are all here! I have pretty much made a decision to get my CDL, but still have a few questions. I figured y'all would have all the answers I need.
I talked with the head of the CDL dept at my local junior college about classes there and what the employment outlook is like for someone like myself. I am a 50 yr old women who is soon to be out on my own after 20yrs. I have been a stay at home wife/mom and have been dependent on my husband. I have a good driving record, but not a great work history. He assured me I could easily find a job. I have read enough on this site not to believe everything I am told by his kind, but can I believe this? Is it still true being a female I have a good shot in this industry? The cost of the program is $4145. big money be bs'd into losing.
Thank you so much for your help,
spidey
