so 117v x 6.0 amps= 702 watts. but remember thats the running amps. start up amps may surge to 8-10. that would put you close to half or over half. your inverter cant handle it.

I just need enough power for this portable A/C unit I have the generator for when I’m parked but running down the road it would be nice to use the inverter to power it. I gutted my whole A/C system (condenser, compressor and lines) from the truck so fixing that is not an option. I have no other appliances.Rideandrepair and truckdriver31 Thank this.
