Northern I'll only idle in use to not dmg my ps4.. as for the amps on alternator I'll check to try and not exceed them. either way I'll post pics of how I do in a week here

Then you will miss me entirely.
My behind isn't that big, and I am not in a fake truck day cab.
(Ya, my daughter calls day cabs fake trucks, because they don't have a sleeper.) -
A PS4 uses 150 watts while gaming, most LCD tvs are under 100 watts.
That inverter should have handled it. Either one of them does not like a modified sine-wave inverter, or your wiring isn't getting enough power to the inverter.
You'll definitely need to run the truck while gaming or your batteries will be dead in about two hours. -
Go back and read your post about trying to get a $25 cash advance.
Nevermind -

so you care about damaging the ps4 but not the truck?
...or your DAC after this jimmy rigged #### goes up in smoke.
450w inverters are the cheap crap they sell at wally world to charge your phone on not run an entertainment center -
tucker Thanks this.

OMG such great minds we have on the road.
The problem is the inverter, nothing else. It is cheap and not even a modified sine wave but a garbage wave inverter. With the TV coming in at a max of 150 watts, the PS4 averages 130 watts (150 with some games), plus the 4% increase in start up current on each (averaged out), the inverter should be just happy. I am guessing that it is throwing out so much garbage on the output when it is under load that they can't handle it.
Someone so inclined to throw together a setup that can start a good fire should listen to the critics.
