Hey everyone new to the forum been truckin for a little over a month and I have a newbie question.

I am a company driver so in a company truck installing an inverter is a big no no. My question is, would it be possible to set up a 500 or more watt inverter to my CBs power cords? I'll post a pic showing you what I mean, looking to set up a T V. And mini fridge with a microwave if possible. The cigg outlets won't cut it and idk if this power outlet is connected straight to the battery or on the trucks circuits like the cigg lighters, never blown a fuse with this CB but it's a small CB. The trucks a 2016 Volvo.
Thanks for any help you can give me!

    You will burn it up.

500 watts is not enough. You will never get enough off those little wires.

When we had the 2500 watt max inverter put in, the wires went to the batteries that were themselves about half a inch thick. Then we can pull 120 volt for a coffee pot or whatever.

    turbotoucher Thanks this.
