I have an AIMS power 1250 inverter. It was about 130 bucks. I run a microwave and tv off of it at the same time. Going on a year and a half no problems whatsoever. TheInverterStore.com, check it out.

I run a cobra 2500 watt, been usung it for 3 years to power, microwave, fridge and coffee maker, ready set go and electric frypan.

Key to making a inverter last is to make sure it is mounted to get plenty of air all around it on every side.
