Was thinking of hooking up a Xbox.
Figured I would definitely need an inverter to do so.
Question is how big etc. how do I go about hooking up a Xbox.
I have a 2019 T680 no apu.
Any help from someone that’s done it is much appreciated.

You probably want a Pure Sine Wave inverter
BazookaJoe Thanks this. -
I got a power drive 2000 watt inverter and I run a ps4, 32 in TV, dorm fridge, microwave and it does just fine...BazookaJoe Thanks this.

Be very careful to install it properly. You'll need large gauge wires from the batteries, preferably with grommets to keep it from fretting on holes, and a fuse to protect the truck from burning down. When I say large gauge I mean 2/0 or 4/0.

I went to Lowes and had them cut 6 foot of 4/0 wire with the connectors and I had used a big pair of crimps to crimp them down... Works fine for me.. You can buy the 6 foot of 2/0 wire already made at Harbor Freight for like $30...

Fuse it at the battery, not at the inverter.
It will draw about 160 amps with 2000 watts, so you will need a pretty large fuse. -
You will want a larger pure sine wave inverter. One that feeds relatively really clean power to computers.
You would want such a inverter overengineered and installed by your truck dealer. So it will not burn, fail or cause trouble when you are away. (Massa'gone away Gremlins (1980) movie come out to play. =)
