Involved in a collision... Advice please

No, but no worries. As soon as I am able to separate myself, have received all that I am owed by them, and complete someone else's orientation, be assured that I will post all about it. I just have to wait until I get 6 incident free months worth of experience....

 

You call your company a "Fly by night" organization and then you wonder if they are going to do the right thing? I like your positive attitude.

Yes, however when he switched lanes to pass another truck, the patrol car appeared to be in motion. When the other truck began to slow down, it was apparent that the patrol car was stationary and, with icy roads, no action would have prevented a collision. This was about 30 minutes after we stopped for fuel/snack and to scale our load. I was only in the passenger seat, having just finished my snack and preparing to return to the sleeper. I had seen the flashing lights and would have slowed down until passing the issue before trying to pass the truck if needed....


Aaaah, the student passes the master...... Lol.... (bonus to those who catch the movie reference).....

 

In my opinion, it is me sticking it out until I know I have somewhere else to go... I am positive that I will separate at my earliest opportunity.
