@Siinman
Major electrical surgery to my rig this week.... Took 800 pouds of OdysseyAGM31's off my truck.
Replaced with about 300 Lbs of Lithium. All new solid copper connections. Had to buy the hydraulic crimper for 4/0 extreme stranded cable, and llugs, and CRC-Di-electric grease.
Added in the Victron Bluetooth enabled 3 bank charger for full control when I run my genny on restarts.
Blue Smart IP22 Charger - Victron Energy
That thing is tits being able to control, on the phone, what voltage it pulls from the genny.
I still got 2 AGM's mixed in the started bank, could not afford to go "all in" because just bought those Odysseys' in Feb'24.

Sorry, photo dump included my CBR929 that I did not get to ride this week because I was rewiring half a Freightliner.
O/OP'n sucks, if I ain't working on something with my hands, well then, it taxes. -
Looks like a nice clean install. I think that #4 wire is a good thing as well. I've read where guys used #6 wire and got error codes on their a/c at max cool. From what I've seen those a/c units can pull as much as 60A at max cool. The charts I looked at called for #4 wire.
ducnut Thanks this. -
I don't think you have solar on your truck either do you? I have one panel and it seems to work fairly decent in keeping the lithium batteries topped off when truck is parked with camera system running 24/7. Also I am sure that you charged the batteries 100 percent before installing? -

Same. And driving a really big thing for a living and getting old and soft has made me think of bikes as bugs and trucks as windshields, so to speak. I just don't really want to ride anymore at all.
I also grew up riding/racing and generally trying to kill myself on crotch rockets. I bought a brand new bright red CBR900rr off the showroom floor in 1996. Unbelievable bike and I know it's a kitten compared to the ones nowadays. I crashed that bike on the Dragon, got carried home in pieces with a destroyed shoulder and a concussion by my friends. Boy was my wife happy about that one.
I rebuilt that bike with lots of polished parts and carbon fiber upgrades only to have it stolen in Daytona Beach while we were all at the stadium watching the Daytona 200. I guess that woul've been 97, MIguel Duhamel's heyday. I loved that bike. I downsized to a cheaper, older CBR600 after it and realized I was much faster in the twisties on the 6'er. Got a reckless driving ticket on that one racing on, you guessed it, the Dragon and almost lost my first CDL job.
It was at about this point that I realized these kinds of things weren't a great idea. -

Bergstrom makes the E APU for all OEMs, they have very good information at this link.
Bergstrom - NITE OE
Their customer support is also very good, you may have to leave a message but they do call back. -
I've seen it pull 55A across all 8 batteries if I add up the AH from all the batteries with nothing else on.
