Made it through the frozen tundra... down in Nacogdoches TX now and will type out my thoughts tomorrow.

    I love these batteries.

I have a $70 portable jumper box off Amazon for my 227k mile Kia soul. I have left the lights on, done light and been screwed before. The box jump starts it easily. Granted it's a small engine. It will charge off a USB.

Been running Dakota lithium’s in my bass boat for 3 years now with no issues. Have several friends running ionics that fish a lot more than me. They’ve only had a few go bad, but the warranty is great on them. Biggest problem I’ve seen with lithiums is when running in series if 1 goes bad your sol. Also, there’s no warning whatsoever when ones about to crap out.

Two months on the Ionic starting batteries running in 20's Farenheight and even down to 5 degrees F one night. During Pretrip clicked the heaters on with the app, started the truck no problems.

Same can't be said for my decision to use the LiTime 12V100ah trolling motor with Bluetooth and BMS to replace my EPU batteries on the frame rail. The batteries perform exactly as advertised. BMS shuts them down at 32 degrees for charging and they don't wake up until 40 degrees. Problem is my inverter runs my fridge, modem, cell charger, microwave, laptop, etc. Big current draw. Also powers the Espar unit. Been dealing with it.

IF (and probably when) I redo the system to fix cold weather performance, I'll probably put in some bus bars and disconnects on the frame and move the EPU bank inside under the center of the lower bunk where it's more temp controlled. And instead of 4x100AH batteries, I think I'm going to go all in and step up to 3x280AH batteries under the bunk. All charged off the stock freightliner alternator.

Reason being is I can run a 1500W cheap ceramic heater off the inverter in the cab while sleeping, so I don't have to burn the bunk heater, which my espar uses about 3 gallons of diesel in a 10 hour break. 10 bucks a day. Also, summertime that amount of battery will pull a full 34 hour break running max bunk AC.

I know, I know, sleeping over discharging Lithium Batteries.

If you plan on buying new batteries I would just go with 4 of the Iconic starter batteries and Run 4 AGM batteries in your APU. I have 2 of the Iconic Starter batteries and 4 AGM for EPU. I can do about 20 hours with everything on in summer time. The AGM are 3 years old and still doing fine but has lost a little bit. I should get one more summer out of them and maybe a winter too.

Also so far my Iconic Starters are very impressive. I have never turned on the heaters as of yet and have used the jump start one time after it set for 3 weeks. I am extremely happy with them and will end up buying these in the future as well.

So it was pretty cold the last few days and I had parked since Friday Morning. When I got to the truck it was about 8 degrees and only had about 20 percent battery life left. Truck had a hard time turning over from being cold. So I ended up having to put my jump starter on the batteries. Jumped pretty fast and seemed to work fine. I believe they did not wants anyone jumpstarting the batteries so hopefully I did not mess anything up/ So far so good so I think it will be fine.
Still best batteries I have ever owned for a truck.

[QUOTE="KDHCryo, post: 13095808, member: 348381" which my espar uses about 3 gallons of diesel in a 10 hour break. 10 bucks a day.

your espar must be dumping it on the ground. Had one for the past 12 years, and I only use a quart in a 10-14 hour period.
