One thing is for sure Common sense isn't common anymore.

..well i just went to that website & didn't see the driver's pic so i guess it was removed, but it's what I did & didn't see the makes me wonder what kind of outfit this really is.. now it may not mean that much to most of the drivers here but when you use a sexy pin-up cartoon character to represent your company, it's not very professional in my opinion.. now for small town repair shops & junk yards that might be cute, but for a trucking company that wants to promote itself as being professional I would want a different image on my home page, and this goes for the owner also, if it's my company my picture goes up there not some cartoon character so any potential driver will know who they'll be working for.. it's not that hard these days to create an inexpensive looking professional website for a small trucking company so I would have used different images there; you may not agree with this observation but that's just my opinion.. company profits are tight these days & O/O's getting left stranded because they're not getting reimbursed for their expenses is a common issue these days.. sooo I'm just say'n, I'd like to hear the drivers version of this story what happened & I'm not saying it didn't go down the way I.A. said it did, it just sounds like there's more to this story than what we've been told.. there are just too many excuses one could make up to explain away the loss of the fuel cash than to just sit at a truck stop for 3 days & then make a call?? .. if he did how do you write that one up on his DAC?

Look man, the driver (when he surfaced) said "he was in the ditch" and couldn't get out. He is less than honest, drew $1500.00 in advances between Denver and Holland, which is more than enough to get to the unload. There is absolutely no excuse for non-communication, period! The load he took to Denver he showed up 2 days late also! He pulled two loads for this company and this is how he apply's himself to to the job..what a joke! If any of you could defend this drivers actions then you yourself are unemployed or just a keyboard ninja that has absolutely nothing to do with your time except create hate and discontent. I wasn't going to even attempt to reply to some of the ineptness from some of you people but, just for the record that is what happened. Also...I defend my website, don't like it ,don't look at it,OK? This company is very professional, receives very nice rates for my drivers and I don't get any complaints from any of my drivers. I think some of you are just jealous haters, that's all. Ha ha,,OK go back to sleep .:smt068

Oh yeah...to all that type and say some of the things you say about something you know absolutely nothing about, Thank-you!! My web hits are doing very well, since this post about the dumb ### posing as a professional truck driver that was missing, has generated my Company 15 new apps, and one new hire on! Keep it up! I like it! Also, this tread was all about trying to get the word out about a driver missing, not about some chick sitting on my logo...what's up? Dont like women? Hahahaha! Some of you are just silly and goofy, typical of most internet forums I guess. I will never judge a Company by their website..period! I do things a little different here at Iowa Atlantic, hmmm.... maybe that why my guys like working here. That is all. Enjoy!

I think I heard that one in 1990?
I'm not "trolling" for anything.
I was thinking this forum would be helpful with the problem I had with a driver missing... hah! Boy,was I wrong.
Thanks to all of you that decided to stick to the point, without too much criticism.
Most all of you know by now there are some people have no business behind the wheel, pawning them selves off as a, real professional trucker.
I employ 7 drivers that are real pros, and I'm grateful!
I am thoroughly done with this topic.
Have a wonderful evening!
