iPhone 4 Bluetooth Headset

Okay let's see if I can express what my issue is... I just got a blueparrott B250 XT and I'm using it with my iPhone 4s. It works fine but my issue is that I don't want to wear the blue tooth all the time. However, when it is paired with my phone the "ring" comes through the headset only. I want the phone to still ring so I can hear it and then put on the headset????? I can't find any setting on the phone to make this happen???
