iPhone 5 details announced

don't all there phones end up with a less then stellar start?

and yet pre orders always exceed the previous product.

 

The data usage bug is not limited to the new IOS or the Iphone5.

It's an ongoing issue with the Iphone "sleep" mode, that Apple has yet to acknowledge or address.

I used a third of my data plan while home taking upgrades, and failing to keep the phone "awake". The wifi connection SHUTS DOWN, when it enters sleep mode, forcing the data to stream from the network. Apple denies this.

Apple will not admit this, nor do they have plans to address it. Although I suspect that is about to change with the blatant IOS6 screwup.

I have not taken the new upgrade, nor do I have plans too at the moment.

 

My wife got the 5 a couple weeks ago. I've got the 4s about a year and a half ago. Not much difference between the two. And the 4s is a lot cheaper right now. I did the IOS6 upgrade. Didn't see much a difference. My 4s still works great!

 

Not going to see much of a difference either. Wasn't enough of an update to justify the band-width.

However, it is causing a multitude of issues. Your mileage may vary.
