I stop at the Petro in Scranton Pa. The blue cheese bacon double burger and fries was $16.99 then $3.99 for drink. $21 then $5 tip. $26 out the door seemed kinda crazy to me.
I remember some Petro’s had special Saturday seafood buffet those were like $24 or something back in the day.

I stopped at Petro in Columbia SC. This is the Petro with bowling alley and tried to get something to eat and they would not seat me or anything they just ignored me and 4 other people waiting to be seated. I thought they might say pick any table yourself or something. It was still 1 or 2 hours before they closed.
The bowling alley looked cool but was not happy nothing to eat.

There was for many years a hole in the wall burger joint at Cuba, AL on the old road Highway 80 they had the BEST breakfast and if you wanted a real burger that was the place to go. The now T/A in Montgomery used to be a Union 76 truckstop Gowens it was called, IF you could get past the lot lizards to the restaurant they had great food.
Then on highway 5 just before Marion,AL there was Coles truckstop. Great meat and 3 or HB steak, Have a beer too. They'd fuel your truck and then park it for you, I miss those places
Even though the stockyard closed in Montgomery, the restaurant is still open and has truck parking. Excellent food there too.
