Only when I drive truck do I get IBS symptoms.
When I'm off work on the weekends, the symptoms go away.
I've been seeing a accupuncturist and the treatments don't help at all.
This has been going on for over 10 years.I give up.
    I haven't seen a gastrointerologist or had a colonoscopy.
I have to have a bowel movement like 8-9 times a day, real drag.
The constant shaking and bouncing is what is doing it.
Has any one else had this happen?
    Any one have any suggestions?

It's free and it works for a lot of stuff. I use it every day. Looks goofy but I'll swear by it. " Tapping.com ". Google it, download the PDF. It's safe, proven and FREE.

    See a doctor.
Might not be the movement as much as stress.

    I've recently been dealing with the IBS thing and here's what helps me;

Note: I had both a colonoscopy and an upper endoscopy. The only thing they found was one very small polyp and erosion from GERD in my esophagus (I also have a hiatal hernia).

1.) I take a probiotic called Align (clinical studies have shown it effective in helping reduce the symptoms of IBS). One pill in the morning - it takes a couple of weeks to see the effects - it doesn't work for everyone - but it was a big help for me.

2.) When I get a flair-up I take Pepto (I take the liquid). I take it as few times as possible because it will plug you up.

Now one of the things I've been experiencing is really bad indigestion. I've narrowed it down to a couple of foods that I never had a problem with before. I'm taking Prilosec for the GERD, which has eliminated the heartburn (I don't need antacids at all anymore). I've recently added a digestive enzyme supplement to my routine which I take with each meal. I'm going to test it with one of the foods that triggers the indigestion to see if it helps with that or not.

The other thing I'm doing is losing weight - I've managed to pack on quite a few pounds over the past few years. I know when I'm lighter I never get heartburn.

    Never leave home without Immodium.

The nurse at my doctor's office said it's like using a band-aid to treat an arm that's been sawed off, ... but ... the load's got to be delivered SOMEHOW.

I also have had chiropractic adjustments and x rays, thinking I had
a pinched nerve and that is what could have been a contributing factor
to digestive stress. No problems with my back at all and no back pain.
I do take probiotics and a digestive enzyme, which is a good idea for
anyone. My diet is fairly healthy, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables,
drink water, and one cup of coffee a day.
If anyone is having heartburn, try looking into a 'proper food combining'
diet, just look it up on the 'net, thats how I got my heartburn to stop.

Sounds like it could potentially be stress induced. I'd consult a physician and try any of the homeopathic remedies. Past that, become the first man to invent the "hoverhauler" and never work another day in your life! :biggrin_25525:

My IBS at work while I drive went away.
How? I Quit picking up coffee at McDonalds every morning,THATS HOW!
I LOVE my morning cup of HOT COFFEE while I pick up my first load
and still get coffee, but I QUIT Mickey D's!
Now I just go anyplace else and I'm fine.It was the coffee that was
causing me so much bowel stress.SCREW YOU MCDonalds!
I also started taking a more powerful PRO-BIOTIC supplement more
regularly,it's called DOCTOR OHIRA'S PROBIOTIC PLUS.
My IBS symptoms almost immeadiatley disappeared,HONEST!
No need to invent a truck seat that doubles up as a comode.
    (i have seen that once as a cartoon-comic somewhere....FUNNY!!!)

That's one of the main things I'm kind of worried about. I've had IBS for over 10 years plus I'm lactose intolerant and I have food allergies. I'm usually a mess before 12 noon because I have to use the bathroom at least 3 or 4 times to be "empty". Common foods like coffee, chocolate, garlic, desserts, beans, onions, dairy cause me all sorts of apocalyptic gastrointestinal stress.
