It's a company truck and I never thought of those items...I will definitely look into them...

I couldn`t get 10 mpg out of mine if it was hooked behind a wrecker.Does alright for what it is. 5.5-6.2 on a 19 year old truck 3406B.

I have a 2000 KW T2000...when it's loaded it gets 7.9 at 68 mph...but I can get 10.5 when I'm bobtailing at 72...burns a half gallon an hour when idling..I guess it's not too bad for an 11 year old truck with 785,000

for example in finland trucks are more expensive than anywhere in europe so thats why is pretty often that they still drive 25-30-40 year old trucks
in brazil trucks are more than 2 times expensive than in europe and even with less equipment their trucks still mainly dont have ABS EBS ESP lower emission standards smaller cabs smaller engines ........and build in brazil , for them taxes for importing truck from europe is even more expensive than those
and when you add that production costs in brazil are much smaller than in Sweden Holland or in France.... , this is best example for what each country can make ....Last edited: Jul 6, 2011

Real busy this week.
Here is my 3 Dedicated Runs so far with MicroBlue Bearings.
7/1/11 = 8.68 mpg
7/6/11 = 8.81 mpg
7/8/11 = 8.61 mpg
Avg to date = 8.71 mpg since adding MicroBlue Treated Bearings.
May Avg = 8.24 mpg
June Avg = 8.15 mpg
So far it is showing an improvement of around 1/2 mpg gain and I will post more information and answer question when I get more time.

.5 mpg average gain on replacing wheel bearings correct? Tractor only? Just clarifying when you have time.

The total fuel used by energy losses of the tractor wheel bearings can't be this much can it?
If it were then the energy would have to go somewhere.
Heat and noise the generated by wheel bearings would be higher or am I missing something? -
12 Wheel bearings x around 30 roller bearings each = approx. 360 roller bearings.
Approx. 360 roller bearings contacting an inner race and an outer race for a total of approx. 720 contact points of metal that have been made alot smoother and slicker with MicroBlue micro-polishing and coating to eliminate metal to metal contact, drag and friction.

I am not the expert on this technology, just a truck driver trying to find better fuel mileage.
This is technology from the NASCAR, Indy Car and Competitive Motorsports World that my friends who work in the NASCAR shops in my area put me on to. I was looking for Ceramic bearings that I found out they don't make them in a roller bearing yet and ran across this company recommended by my friends. -
0.5Mpg increase divided by 8.21 (prev ave) = almost 6,1% increase.
Now the trailer has the same amount of bearings.Another 6,1% ?
Bearings ,Crown wheel and pinion in diff's % ?
Gear box gear surfaces just top2 as they are mostly used %?
Bearings in gearbox %?
To me it seems if you can get 6,1% from tractor bearings then , trailer,gearbox and diffs should net you another 10 % perhaps?
How long does the treatment last ? -
So happy with results that I am getting ready to have both rear ends and the power divider done that I am told don't be surprised if I go from 8.7 mpg to 11 mpg. The wheel bearings did what they said they would do with around 1/2 mpg gain.
I would be happy to get into the 10 mpg range.
Hopefully by the 1st of August I will the rear ends MicroBlued micro-polished and coated to see the results on the highway with my dedicated runs.
