Is 2nd or 3rd shift better & what shift do most LH COs start at?

    I am going to go to trucking school soon and i would prefer to run 2nd shift linehaul. is this feasible or do they start all new guys on days i DO NOT wanna work days at all. just me and my dog at my house so i can sleep anytime. id even prefer to do something like a weeekend wherer i can just work maybe 3 days a week is that possible?

    There is no rule. You get what THAT company gives you. Also, linehaul is mostly nights. I'd be shocked badly if you ever got any 3 day work weeks except for an occasional holiday, bad weather, SNAFU sort of surprise. Nighttime is the right time to drive. I did it for 18 years, although it wasn't linehaul/LTL.

    If your want to run linehaul at an LTL,many offer in house CDL training.
