If you are looking at getting on with a carrier I would highly advise you to go to a carrier without company trucks. Those who say that are 100% looking out for you and I would agree and follow that advice

    So here,

1, look for a company that offers percentage pay over cents per mile.
    2, no company trucks
3, a load board that would allow you to pick your own freight
4, dispatcher only there in an advisor role and not as a person who has your money in their hands per week.

    Just some advice.

The third photo is I believe Donna Brazil, who was fired from CNN and the DNC for unethical practices. She was then immediately hired by the ATA for a job well done!:D

No. But for some reason the third photo made me laugh and it was the only reasoning I could come up with. Lol.

On a serious note this is good advice if your looking for a L/P from a carrier. Stay away from walk away leases. That is a huge red flag. What sounds like a good deal for you is a better deal for them. Make sure no matter what if your not happy with the company your leased to you can move your truck to another company as long as your lease is in good standing. Only fair. Lastly, and most importantly for me anyway, I can not imagine a scenario where I would buy a truck and let someone dispatch it deciding where and what I haul. Western keeps spouting off about a pick your own freight program but after researching I find it hard to take serious. Just some food for thought for what its worth.

Van side 70% of load plus fuel surcharge works out to 1.50 a mile avg ,no forced dispatch get a choose of loads or you can use broker and get your own loads now this is if you bring your own truck on or go through quality leasing.100%of tolls paid, lots of drop and hooks.
