Ok, I am at my wits end with this. Maybe one of you can help me. My husband started with ATS in September of last year. Everything started out great he was making a good paycheck every week, and we thought we finally found a a company that gives a darn. He is lease pusrchasing a truck...Yah I know what your going to say. Well we thought we had done our home work. He was a carhauler before this and before that did in state heavy-haul.The last company he worked for was enough to even make a grown man cry with the issues office politics and so one. My husband is a no nosence type of person. He just wants to do his job and get paid decently. When companies start looking at a number and not you as a person it can cause problems. Ok yes going off subject sorry. Like I said we did our homework and everything was great till just before X-maS, around thanksgiving it was hard to get even a decent paying load. BTW hes on milage not percentage. Found out what a mistake that was. Well his coordinator started giving him less and less loads. Then when Nathan would call him after no answer on the driver tech the guy would be even worse. Like heaven forbid Nathan needed some information. Then the coordinators superviser which is the only other person my husband has the number for to try to get help wouldn't call him back for a couple of days or not at all. He does not like to cause a ruckus but guess what I will and there was nothing I could do.I still feel powerless in the string of shady. Well in February they said by end of March the loads would pick up because of Turbines. Ok NP. We were contantly behind on bills but eked through. Its gotten a lil bit better not by much though. Now he has supossed to move up in class to move heavier weight. Still hasn't let him know if he went up in class. Which the flatbed division doesn't seem to want you to do. But thats xwhere he really wants to go. So brings me to the newest shadyness. On some of the loads theres Retention pay. Apparently a couple of weeks ago they stopped giving the drivers the full amount. in fact mileage drivers barely get any of it. They started doing this without informing any of the drivers. No memo nothing. So my husband has taken loads he normally wouldn't because of this. Now we will be behind again. Thank goodness we have an understanding landlord. But he's been out almost 8 weeks and was going to finally be able to come home for a few days. We have 4 kids and they miss their dad.Now I don't know what we are going to do.....Advice anyone?
