Huh. I actually didn't see that one coming, and hadn't heard any rumblings about it, either. Fascinating.

 

Wow, I haven't even thought of them in awhile. That's surprising.

 

I guess undercutting everybody doesn't work so well. Surprised they lasted as long as they did. I wonder how much longer uber will last? Never thought these trendy techy type brokerages had any real staying power without swindling a bunch of venture capital from suckers.

 

To be honest, I'm shocked Uber hasn't folded their freight division already. I don't think they've *made* money with it yet.

 

They just deposited $6k into my account for a load I just delivered.

Kind of blows for me because I’ve been getting some really great paying loads from them lately.

They never bothered me one bit and always paid within a couple days. Although I didn’t do a ton with them they always treated me great.

I definitely will miss them.

 

As someone who does a great deal with them I’ve noticed that they are getting a little slow to pay.. Thinking that maybe they’re short staffed right now trying to save the ship.

 

I think Uber Freight being folded into Transplace is their saving grace.
