Dumb question: but I was in truck with another team driver just down WV @i90 highway last week and he's only 8 month experienced driver however I just started as driver so I'm still learning. My team driver drove the truck like a Nascar literally kept his speed around curviest curves @ 70-85 miles and repeatedly reminded me to do same. I DID NOT find that safe at all because I have a fear of tipping over the #### trailer if it goes out of control due to speed. His advice was to keep the truck going in same speed by going over the rumble strips when road curves to the right and go over center lane when curvy road going to the left to keep the speed momentum flowing. Basically carry the weight of the truck in direction its going. I think that's unsafe because other vehicles can get in your way especially when it's pitch black out there and second speeding is dangerous. Experience drivers please share your opinions I'd like to know if that's how it's done??

I would advise a call to the boss and ask for a different co-driver. If the boss does not respond favorably, pack your stuff and get off that truck at next opportunity.

No, that's not how it's done. That's a quick way to be killed. He's lying to you and showing off like he's a big shot.

Driver, when you are driving drive your way, you are in charge. If I were you I'd tell him to slow the #### down but he won't so get a new team mate.

Report him to the company, tell them you will not be in a truck with him because of his reckless behavior, stand firm because we all know this will not end well for the idiot and others who he kills, you do not want to be a part of that.

If that truck rolls, it’ll probably be OP that gets killed.

If it doesnt feel safe, it probably isnt. 8 months driven doesnt mean squat.
Just means that for 8 months they havent done enough to get caught.

    Coffey Thanks this.
