Check out Wright Transportation. They have a terminal in Southern Mississippi and a low turnover rate according to their website. They may be able to accommodate you. Worth a shot anyway.

Look for Penske, Ryder, Cardinal driving driving jobs in your area. Most are Mon-Friday regional or home daily.

Regional gets you home for 34 most times.

Working days only. Some days you spend unloading. Reloading. Load usually delivered next day.

This was before leashes were required.

There was good money before the leash. Probably not now.

They say most as opposed to all or guaranteed because of the occasional one you may have to spend on the road.

I hardly spend a weekend on the road. Of course, being an o/o, there is that no forced dispatch.

It really depends on your market, but look outside the box. Look at companies whose primary business isn't trucking like oil companies or building supply companies for example. They may have a transport division to support the primary business which may get you home everyday instead of weekly! I worked for a oil company for 20 years that had 10 tractors and a number of trailers hauling fuel, propane, heating oil, hot oil and asphalt, we also had a few flatbeds to keep us busy during slow times. With those types of companies you generally work days and get paid for all your time. I should also add that your don't have to have years of experience to get hired on with those type of companies...they will hire and train inexperienced people if they think you would be a good fit and stay with them for years.
