So chasing 3200 miles a week at 48 cents a mile hauling a 53 footer is the answer??
The Carriers paying that are to blame- They Know Better but dont care about nothing but their own bottom line...
I Can't blame the Drivers because many are New and don't know any better-
You want to know what insanity is?? Chasing 2400-3200 miles a week every week for years and not getting anywhere in life personally and financially.........These irregular route contract carriers know this- And simply dont care- Someones gonna fill the seat.77Pritch, stuckinthemud and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
When the biggest bestest smartest trucking cartel in the world sends out a high priority video to 20k drivers out of the blue titled. "Freight is slowing.." Be afraid.. Be very afraid. Yet the only diff in the NW I have seen is my percentage of LL vs. D&Hook. More LL. Which sucks orbs but I will probably be finding something better to do anyway this year. Turns out last mile delivery with Amazon using small vans is the future.

Exactly. It's capitalism. Supply & demand at it's rudimentary level. Speaking of cake, that reminded me of a line from that Jimmy Webb tune, MacArthur's Park:
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don't think that I can take it
'Cause it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipe again
Oh no!lynchy Thanks this.
