Is hauling wood chips good experience?

    Never hurts to ask, the worst they can do is say no. Just like the cute one at the bar.

    Anyways, keep your ears open, A different opportunity may present itself while making a delivery.

    I did wood chips and landscape delivery up here in WA for a bit last summer. Several of the customers had ties to other transportation companies (one was the dad of one of the larger local rock companies). Had several "if you want to change jobs, go see this guy" type conversations. Primarily I moved on because I had no interest in walking on or chaining for frozen cow piss......

    Depends on if you are hauling mill to mill or directly from the chipper in the bush to the mill. Out of the bush makes you a truck driver!
    I done it years ago. In my area average $300 a day to haul chips and home every day.
